Advanced Heat Treatment

The process begins with precision heat treatment, carefully controlled to unify the metal's microstructure. This improves the disc's strength, hardness and resistance to thermal stresses, creating a more consistent and durable braking surface.

Performance-Focused Disc Designs

Once heat treated, each disc receives a purposeful performance facing. TAROX does not use decorative dimples simply for appearance — every groove or drilling pattern is designed with a specific function.

Durable Anti-Rust Protection

After machining, TAROX discs are treated using Cataphoresis, an electronically controlled coating process that provides long-lasting protection against corrosion.

The coating is designed to withstand high temperatures and protects the unswept areas of the disc, including the internal cooling vanes, helping your brakes maintain their appearance throughout their service life.

Precision Surface Finishing

Both braking surfaces are simultaneously polished using bespoke, hand-operated machinery. This process ensures the surfaces are exceptionally flat and parallel, with machining tolerances approaching 0.05 mm.

A precisely finished surface helps the brake pads bed in quickly and effectively while reducing the potential for disc run-out. TAROX's finishing process is so carefully controlled that the machinery is recalibrated every three runs.
